55 Years of BLUE TRACTORS | FORD to New Holland

Creation years
Between 1917 and 1922, the Fordson was once for tractors relatively just like the Ford model T was once for vehicles—it captured the public's imagination and generally popularized the machine, with a secure design, a low fee low priced for employees and farmers, a popular dealership network, and a construction potential for significant numbers. Simply because the model T helped the public to recognize how soon cars and vans might substitute most horses in transport, the Fordson helped humans to recognize how soon tractors could substitute most horses in farming (advancing the mechanisation of agriculture). As with cars, Ford in no way had the market to itself, nevertheless it dominated the marketplace for tractors, roughly 1917–1925, and once more 1946-1953. Ford used to be the one automobile corporation to sell automobiles, vans and tractors concurrently from 1917 to 1928.[1][2]

For a decade between 1928 and 1939, Ford of the U.S. Left the tractor business. For the period of that decade, Ford of britain continued to construct Fordsons and to boost new editions, which it exported widely. In 1939 Ford of the U.S. Reentered the tractor market with an all-new mannequin, this time with the Ford brand. Ford of england endured to use the Fordson company unless 1964.
